Who we are?
Agrokontakt-Georgievi LTD was established in 1993 located in Dobrich, Bulgaria.
From the creation of the company until now it has been family owned.
We are specialized in the sunflower breeding, sunflower seeds production and trading of sunflower seeds for the largest companies – Lidea, Syngenta, Pioneer, Caussade Semences, RWA, Saatbau, Probstdorfer Saatzucht and Saatzucht Donau.
Agrokontakt-Georgievi LTD produces and offers high-quality sunflower seeds.
Plants
The company owns two seed plants in the city of Dobrich – a plant for cleaning, processing and treating of wheat seeds and a plant for cleaning, processing and treating of sunflower seeds opened in 2005, fully equipped preparation and treatment plant and a sunflower seed cleaning, preparation and treatment plant, opened in 2005, fully equipped with the machinery of the Danish-Austrian company Cimbria-Heid , the latest technology in the cleaning, processing and seed treatment in the world.
Technology
High-tech technology allows cleaning, processing, treating, packaging and loading of 70 tons of wheat seeds and 16 tons of sunflower seeds per day.
The computer controled system in automatic mode regulates the quantitative ratio between the weight of the seeds and the applied pesticides, and the dosage of the treatment ratio is extremely precise.

High-Tech Technology
Agrokontakt-Georgievi LTD has the most modern, waste-free technology for treatment of seeds – the Austrian system – CentriCoater 50 by Cimbria-Heid. With it, the entire amount of the solution is used in the treating process and no amount of it is thrown away or stored. Thus, the company makes its contribution for the environmental protection.
The company has the best quality control technology for already processed sunflower seeds – Infrared Color Sorter of the Japanese company Satake.
The company owns the country’s first certified autosampler for taking official samples for IASAS (Executive Agency for Variety Testing, Approbation and Seed Control) to a bag ready for sowing. With this autosampler It guarantees the complete objectivity and transparency when taking samples to determine the quality of the seeds, eliminating any possibility of human intervention during sampling.
The company has all the necessary certificates and permits for the activity.
